Lady From Mars (date approximate)

She's been makin' diamonds cause she says she's magic
Says she's Madonna and Stevie Nicks
Sellin' spoonfuls of coffee for a quarter
Is just on of her tricks

Four in the morning, goddamn, she's at it again
Talkin' about a baby she may never see again
We can't help you girl, we gotta sit in these chairs
We only get paid to play solitaire

Lady from Mars
Showered outdoors
Most of the time until it got cold
Behind closed doors
This lady from Mars
Can still be bought and sold

Where will you go when the State won't fund
Your Martian love affairs
When the men you've known
All have empty stares

Lady from Mars
Gonna go back to Texas
A place she's never been
Don't be alarmed
Lady from Mars
You'll never see me again

I've changed my comments settings to allow for anyone to comment. All comments are welcome, even spineless potshots from anonymous posters. Please, by all means, give me the tongue lashing I so richly deserve. I promise not to hunt you down and melt your keyboard with my plasma cannon. I won't, however, promise not to pout and make that face you can't stand.
